Knockoffs and Counterfeits
The Victor Mug was made in various colors and designs.� The mug held either the classic six ounces or a larger 7 ½ ounces of liquid. The Victor Coffee Mug weighed a respectable 16 ounces for the small mug, and a robust 20 ounces for the larger mug. Rumor has it that the knockoffs from China were imprinted on the bottom, as were genuine Victor Coffee Mugs, but the name imprinted was "Victory" but the 'y' inadvertently was left off.� Please refer to the photographs, and one will note that the mug on the left is an imposter.� The Victor label is serifed.� The mug on the right, a genuine 6 ounce Victor Coffee Mug, is labeled with sans serif type.
